Grape Ice Cream (technically Sherbet)

Yield
1 quart

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grape juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups milk
  • Juice of a lemon

Directions 

1.    Whisk together all of the above ingredients until sugar is completely dissolved.
2.  Follow directions for your particular ice cream freezer or pour into Popsicle molds.

Comments

1. You might try omitting the sugar and water entirely and instead just use 2 1/2 cups of  grape juice. I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems to me that it would be healthier.
