INGREDIENTS
· 1 package frozen peas
· ½ package frozen pearl onions
· 4 tbs all-purpose flour
· 4 tbs butter
· 2 cups milk
· salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine peas and pearl onions in a microwave safe bowl and cook according to package directions.
2. In a sauce pan, over medium heat, melt the butter.
3. Add the flour and wisk together thoroughly.
4. Add the milk and stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
5. Pour the sauce over the peas and onions.
COMMENTS
1. This is a simple side dish.
2. It is equally good with poultry, pork, or beef.
